7.For Encryption Level, select Medium (128 Bit AES)

Pretty much an alternate to PDF Creator, but with advanced features.

This software works similar to a virtual printer. This means target file should be opened using any reader and then redirect to this software using print option. Easy, isn't it?

1.Open the PDF document using your usual reader (Browser or Alternate Readers)

2.Select the Print option or use keyboard combination [CTRL + P]

3.In Print section, select Primo-PDF as the printer, afterwards press OK

4.Click Change Option and then PDF Security

5.Tick the box next to Open Password

6.Enter the desired password twice and press OK

7.Select Create PDF option and the file should be processed


Password Protecting PDF files using Online Method:

1.Visit www.pdfprotect.net

2.Click My Computer and select the directory of the PDF document

3.Select the file and click Open

4.Under Password field, type in the password to be used

5.When done, Click Protect

6.Once finished, the file will be automatically downloaded. (Time required for processing may depend on the size of the document).
